Michelle Silberman, a fiber artist from NC, will be leading this hands-on class for children ages 5-14 where we will learn more about wool processing into yarn, natural plant dyes she uses to color the yarn and weaving. SMALL/LIMITED CLASS SIZE

About the event
Michelle will be teaching us all the basics about fiber arts, how wool is spun into yarn, show us examples of what she makes using natural fibers, and each participating child will get to design and weave their own keepsake weaving to bring home using real wool dyed with natural plants dyes.
**This will be an intensive 2 hour class where Michelle will guide us on weaving using a loom. Each child will have their own loom to use. We ask that a parent is able to assist if/when needed.
